If you’ve recently purchased a Mavic Pro are looking to get the most out of your drone, you have come to the right place! Here are the best accessories for the Mavic Pro:

1. ND Filter Set

Filters are must have accessory if you plan to do any filming. The ND filters cuts down the amount of light that enters the sensor to prevent overexposure and which helps you achieve the smoothest video possible by following the shutter speed rule of 1/ (two times your frame rate). For example, if you are shooting at 4K 30FPS, you would have to have your shutter speed at 1/60.

2. Landing Gear Risers with LED

These landing gear risers are extremely helpful in situations where you need the extra height to protect the bottom facing sensors and gimbal. You will find that the Mavic Pro naturally sits very low on the ground. Grass can often get caught up in the blades and scratches on the bottom sensors are not ideal as it can alter the height readings and affect the way the drone lands. At such a cheap price, it is a very helpful and handy accessory to have. These gears also have LED’s attached to them to help the obstacle sensors see during low light situations! Very handy indeed.

3. Accessories Combo Standard

This combo pack gives you all the accessories you will ever need to get you started and flying in the Air. In the box, you get a landing pad, lens hood, propeller holder, landing gear, control stick protector, clasp and lighting cable.

The landing pad will protect the bottom sensors upon take-off and landing. The lens hood blocks sunlight/rays and also shadows from the propellers on your camera. This can happen during certain times of the day and will results in a strobe light video, definitely something you don’t want. The landing hear is handy if you don’t have a landing pad with you as it gives you extra height. The propeller holder is very handy when transporting the drone as it prevent the propellers from being bent/cracked. The controller clasp allows you to carry the remote over your neck to reduce weight. Having a control stick protector allows you to store the controller with ease and will prevent the controller from having a control stick error. Lastly, the lightning cable is great for tablets as it isn’t too long.

Definitely pick these up for yourself or as a gift!

8. Landing Pad

Landing Pads are one of the most underrated accessories for drones. They fold up to a very portable size and helps protect the gimbals, sensors and camera during take-off and landing. You can place this on top of sand, grass, dirt and gravel to create a flat, unobstructed platform. Not only this, the landing pad is black on one side and yellow on the other to help create contrast between the pad and the ground, helping the bottom sensors on the drone to better detect a smooth landing surface. It also helps to ensure your drone does not drift during landing.
